It's city centre and right beside Pearse St. DART and not far from LUAS either.

This is a perfect opportunity for new members to come along, suss out the gang, and maybe make arrangements for the Summer Solstice weekend trip (20/21st). With a bit of luck we'll get some waves and sunshine for the longest days of the year. If you miss that you'll kick yourself you weren't there!

Surf A Wave For Cystic Fibrosis
on Sunday 31st May 2009 at 2pm at Lahinch Beach

So grab your surfboard, head to Co Clare and surf a wave for Cystic Fibrosis.
Join Kev at Lahinch beach at 2pm or just paddle out at you local spot on the day.
You can download the sponsorship card (PDF) below to help raise funds for this worthy cause.

There will be prizes for those with helmets and for the most spectacular rides.

March's social will be on thurs 26th in The Bull and Castle again as everybody enjoyed the last one.
I know it's the 4th and not 3rd Thursday but a few of us are away, galavanting in the snow next week so that's just the way it's gonna be :-)

the Christmas social will be on Friday 12th Dec. I hope this suits most people. We'll be back in Jack Nealon's of Capel St as everyone liked the place and it suits our numbers.

As with the Hallowe'en, friends/non members are very welcome to join in the craic. Please let me know if you're going to come join in and let me know if you'll be bringing friends so I can know how many's coming. My number is 0862935333.

I've provisionally booked ice-skating in Smithfield for 8pm on the night. It's only round the corner from Jack Nealon's and should cost €12:60 (discounted group rate). ECSC will subsidise anyone interested in attending so it'll only cost members €5 on the night. It lasts for 50 mins so we should be finished up and in Jack Nealon's by 9:15.

Hi club members,

put a hold on any surf spending! Put the credit cards away and the wallets back into pockets until next Thursday! Wait to buy your winter wetsuits!

We've a special night lined up next Thursday night for all you sleepy heads that missed the sales to buy a winter suit. Albert, our friendly surf suit advisor in The Great Outdoors in Chatham St, is allowing us 20% off RipCurl wetsuits and 10-15% off C-skins and selected others too, next Thurs 20th Nov, for 1 hour only, 8-9 o'clock.

Albert will be providing a few beers for anyone that's thirsty and we've a space reserved in The Hairy Lemon, just around the corner for a few more afterwards. Will anybody that'll be attending the sale please text on 0862935333 just so we can get an idea how many people to expect.

We want everyone, yes everyone, to arrive in fancy dress. If you can manage something along a scary theme, that'd be great, zombie surfer or something like that.

It'll be a great laugh and non-club members are more than welcome (as long as they make some effort to dress up).
